Material Protection Features
Compared to single-use protection devices such as bursting discs, external safety valves provide continuous pressure regulation without material loss, making them particularly suitable for high-value media (such as food and pharmaceutical raw materials).
The safety valve should be installed vertically, ≤1m from the pump outlet. Support brackets should be installed on the outlet pipe (2-5m apart).
10. Avoid right-angle elbows. Prefer elbows with a curvature radius ≥ 3 times the pipe diameter.
Commissioning and Inspection
An air pressure test (1.5 times the operating pressure) is required to verify tightness upon initial commissioning.
