Disperser Description
The operating principle of a disperser is primarily based on mechanical shear and fluid dynamics. High-speed rotating components forcefully disperse the material. Its core mechanism can be divided into three stages:
1. Shear and Crushing Stage,A high-speed rotating rotor (such as a serrated disc impeller) forms ,The material is Subjected to intense shear, impact, and centrifugal extrusion in this area, breaking down particle agglomerates to the micron or nanometer scale.14 Linear Speed and Shear Rate: The rotor's linear speed can reach 15-44 m/s, and the shear rate can reach up to 1750 rpm, achieving highly efficient dispersion.
2. Turbulent Mixing Stage
Vortex Formation: When the disperser disc rotates at high speed, the material forms a spiral vortex within the container. The powder is drawn into the base of the vortex and further dispersed.
Laminar Shear: Laminar flow forms beneath the disperser disc, where viscous forces between liquid layers of varying speeds further refine the particles.
