Reflux Stills are used to create higher proof spirits that are odorless and flavorless. When the spirit passes through the fractioning column, it meets the rising vapor, which causes it to condense during distillation. A taller column will result in a more neutral spirit. Rum, vodka, and higher proof whiskey can be made with reflux stills.
