### Precautions for Using a Thermal Oil Reactor
1. **Prevent Contamination**:
- Ensure that the thermal oil in the reactor is not mixed with water, acids, alkalis, or other foreign substances during operation.
2. **Initial Cleaning**:
- Before the first use, remove any impurities or rust particles introduced during installation to maintain heat transfer efficiency and prolong the thermal oil's lifespan.
3. **Use High-Temperature-Resistant Gaskets**:
- Install high-temperature-resistant gaskets in the heating circulation system to prevent thermal oil leakage.
4. **Proper Heating Procedure**:
- When using thermal oil for the first time, remove water and light components by gradually increasing the temperature.
- Do not exceed a heating rate of 20°C per hour.
- Hold the temperature at 105–120°C for a period (based on the situation) and again at 180–200°C to eliminate light components.
5. **Monitor Oil Quality**:
- If the thermal oil shows signs of deterioration (e.g., discoloration or failure to meet heating standards), stop heating immediately.
- Take a sample for testing and decide whether to add more oil or replace it entirely.
By following these precautions, the thermal oil reactor can operate efficiently and safely while maintaining its performance and longevity.
