3. **Structure and Principle**

5. **Operation**

- **Pre-Use Checks**:

- Inspect safety valves, pressure gauges, and flow paths.

- Ensure the storage tank is full and discharge flow is directed correctly.

- **Normal Operation**:

- Start with water circulation to test the system.

- Introduce steam, adjust sterilization temperature, and begin material processing.

- Control back pressure and discharge temperature using valves.

- **Abnormal Operation**:

- Use clean water to flush the system during material interruptions.

- Circulate water to prevent clogging during extended stops.

6. **Cleaning**

- **Procedure**:

- **Water Washing**: Remove residual material.

- **Alkaline Washing**: Dissolve proteins and fats with 2% NaOH solution at 80°C.

- **Water Rinse**: Clean off alkaline solution.

- **Acid Washing**: Remove scale with 2% nitric acid solution at 80°C.

- **Final Rinse**: Ensure no acid residue remains.

- **Precautions**:

- Avoid chloride-based detergents.

- Use purified water if local water quality is poor.

7. **Maintenance**

- Regularly inspect steam traps, safety valves, and gauges.

- Clean and lubricate feed pump bearings annually.

- Prevent freezing in winter by draining water or using 1% alkali solution.

- Check pipe joints and valves for leaks and tighten as needed.

8. **Troubleshooting**

- For sudden power outages:

- Close steam valves and drain condensate.

- Introduce tap water to prevent coking and fouling.

- Resume production by draining water and reopening steam valves.
