Things to note after using the stainless steel reactor and thermal oil furnace

After using a stainless steel reactor thermal oil boiler, follow these precautions:

1. **Shutdown Period**: Ensure the shutdown time is at least 8 hours. If the shutdown exceeds 8 hours, use the manual grate to suppress the red flame after turning off the fan and flue damper.

2. **Flame Suppression**: Apply a thick layer of wet coal to suppress the red flame. Assign someone to monitor the flame during the shutdown. If the wet coal spontaneously combusts, reapply wet coal to maintain the flame.

3. **Grate and Draft Management**: Deactivate the chain grate and turn off the draft after shutdown. Thicken the coal layer on the grate by 800–1200 mm.

4. **Winter Precautions**: In cold weather, briefly increase the blower and draft to ignite the coal, then add fresh coal to prevent the fire from going out.

5. **Circulation Pump**: Keep the circulation pump running during shutdown. For stainless steel reactors, bypass the circulation pump when the heating equipment is not in use. Shut down the pump when the outlet oil temperature drops below 100°C.

6. **Reactivation**: When restarting, first activate the circulation pump for the organic heat transfer furnace to ensure proper fluid flow before reigniting the combustion. Control the heating rate to avoid local overheating if the oil temperature has dropped below 100°C.
