### Guidelines for Designing and Manufacturing Stainless Steel Food and Beverage Containers

1. **Volume Design**:

- Prioritize the volume series parameters outlined in the standard for stainless steel food and beverage containers.

2. **Drawing Design**:

- Consider process conditions, select an appropriate height-to-diameter ratio, and configure tank accessories effectively.

3. **Surface Requirements**:

- Maintain the original color and roughness of cold-rolled stainless steel sheets for internal and external surfaces.

- Ensure the surface roughness (Ra value) of internal welds does not exceed 0.8 µm.

- Comply with GB16798-1987 standards for container surfaces.

4. **Structural Design**:

- Use a folded edge structure for the bottom and lid to ensure a flush connection with the tank body.

- For openings with a diameter of 38 mm or more, use internal or external flanges with a radius of at least 5 mm.

5. **Material Selection**:

- Use stainless steel grades such as 0Cr18Ni9, 00Cr18Ni10, 0Cr17Ni12MO2, or 00Cr17Ni14MO2 for the container body, depending on the process and medium.

- Ensure welding materials meet relevant national and industry standards.

6. **Raw Material Inspection**:

- Verify that raw materials meet physical and chemical property requirements.

- Conduct visual inspections and require suppliers to provide material quality certifications and inspection reports.

7. **Stainless Steel Plate Specifications**:

- Use cold-rolled stainless steel coils compliant with GB/T3280-1992.

- Limit each canister section to no more than three longitudinal seams.

- Prefer stainless steel plate widths of 1000 mm, 1219 mm, or 1500 mm.

8. **Welding Materials**:

- Use welding wires compliant with YB/T5091-1996.

- Match the wire steel grade to the materials being welded:

- For 0Cr18Ni9: Use H0Cr21Ni10 or H00Cr21Ni10.

- For 0Cr18Ni9 and 0Cr17Ni12MO2: Use H0Cr19Ni12MO2 or H00Cr19Ni12MO2.

By adhering to these guidelines, manufacturers can ensure the quality, durability, and compliance of stainless steel food and beverage containers.
