### Reactor Heating Rod Maintenance and Stainless Steel Tank Protection

#### **Heating Rod Maintenance**

1. **Symptoms of a Burned-Out Heating Rod:**

- Failure to heat or slow heating.

- Leakage in the reactor body.

- Current imbalance among rods.

2. **Inspection Steps:**

- Turn off the main power supply.

- Identify the faulty heating rod by testing each set individually.

- Use a multimeter to check the resistance of the heating rods or between the rods and the reactor body.

3. **Repair Process:**

- Drain the thermal oil and replace the faulty heating rod with a similar model.

- If the issue persists, contact Huihe Machinery for further assistance.

#### **Stainless Steel Tank Protection**

1. **Corrosion Prevention:**

- Protect the bottom plate of the tank with effective anti-corrosion measures to reduce leakage and extend service life.

- Cover the tank surface with metal or other materials to isolate it from corrosive media.

2. **Maintenance Tips:**

- Regularly inspect for signs of corrosion or damage.

- Implement cost-effective solutions to enhance durability and performance.

#### **Cryogenic Reactor Operation**

1. **Preparation:**

- Rinse the reactor with the reaction solvent and analyze impurities using GC.

- Ensure the reactor is water-free, load the substrate and solvent, and evacuate to -0.1 MPa.

- Purge with nitrogen to displace other gases and install a liquid seal at the vent.

2. **Operation:**

- Cool the jacket with liquid nitrogen to the desired temperature.

- Slowly add n-butyl lithium under nitrogen protection.

3. **Post-Reaction:**

- Add liquid nitrogen to the jacket, cover the vent, and circulate anhydrous alcohol to increase the temperature.

- Pressurize the alcohol in the jacket after holding the tank at the desired temperature.

By following these guidelines, reactors and stainless steel tanks can be maintained effectively, ensuring safety, longevity, and optimal performance.

Each tank is crafted from premium-grade stainless steel, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance, hygiene, and longevity.
