**CIP (Clean-In-Place) Cleaning Process for Water Treatment Equipment**

1. **Pre-Operation Check:**

- Ensure all equipment, valves, and pipelines are in proper working condition before starting the cleaning process.

2. **Preparation of Cleaning Solutions:**

- **Alkaline Solution:** Prepare a 2% NaOH solution.

- **Acidic Solution:** Prepare a 0.5% nitric acid solution.

3. **Cleaning Sequence:**

- **Water Rinse** → **Alkaline Cleaning** → **Hot Water Rinse** → **Acid Cleaning** → **Hot Water Rinse** → **Final Rinse with Clean Water.**

4. **Cleaning Steps:**

- **Water Rinse:** Flush the system with clean water for 3 minutes.

- **Alkaline Cleaning:** Circulate the alkaline solution for 5–10 minutes.
