When using a stainless steel reactor for high-temperature reactions, thermal oil evaporation can pose challenges such as condensation on furniture and clogging of fume hood filters. Additionally, some thermal oils may combust or explode if used near their flash point. To prevent such risks, thermal oil should only be used at temperatures at least **5°C below its flash point**.

### Key Features of Stainless Steel Reactors:

1. **Safety Features**:

- Self-diagnostics.

- Refrigerator overload protection.

- High-pressure switch and overload relay.

- Thermal protection device.

- PT100 temperature probes for both external and internal circulations.

- Use of CFC- and HCFC-free refrigerants.

2. **Sealed Circulation System**:

- Prevents oil mist at high temperatures, reducing oxidation and browning of thermal oil.

- Minimizes moisture absorption at low temperatures, extending the thermal oil's lifespan.

3. **Heating Methods**:

- **Water Heating**: Suitable for moderate temperature requirements; can be open or closed.

- **Steam Heating**:

- Below 100°C: Steam below atmospheric pressure.

- 100°C–180°C: Saturated steam.

- Higher temperatures: High-pressure superheated steam.

- **Other Media**: For high-temperature needs, alternatives like mineral oil (275–300°C), diphenyl ether mixture (boiling point 258°C), molten salt (140–540°C), or liquid lead (melting point 327°C) can be used.

- **Electric Heating**:

- Resistance wires wrapped around the reactor insulation.

- Lightweight, easy to operate, and eliminates the need for additional equipment like pumps or furnaces.

- Best for temperatures below 400°C and in regions with low electricity costs.

4. **Agitation and Sealing**:

- Equipped with dynamic seals on agitators to ensure uniform reactions and prevent leaks.

5. **Cleaning and Maintenance**:

- Quick-opening manholes and handholes facilitate sampling, volume measurement, reaction observation, and maintenance.

- Cleaning may be required after each batch to maintain product quality.

These features and methods ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality operation of stainless steel reactors across various applications.

Each tank is crafted from premium-grade stainless steel, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance, hygiene, and longevity.
